Ask my boyfriend, the Barbie machine. Because Barbie's friends include the Bewitched Samantha Barbie, the Deborah Harry of Blondie Barbie, and the I Dream of Jeannie Barbie. Aren't you glad you have me in your virtual life, to answer these kind of burning questions. After all, that's what "gay" friends are for!
Hi, Allison. Hope you are okay, but just assume you have been busy. Tried to post this yesterday but was just too damn stiff. Anyway, I'm still reading your posts and enjoying them. I hope you got your DBS tuned to where you are feeling better. My last appt with neuros at UVA was pretty much a bust, but I did find out that my chest battery was OK. So I had them zap me a little on the right side so I can type a little bit better, though some days better than others! Let me know how you are as time permits. I don't want to bother you, but just like to check in with another parkie from time to time. My best. -Bruce
Thank you for thinking of me. I have been busy with my program, but also busy feeling better. I am interested in knowing if you have had brain mapping done before. This is where the try each lead and different settings. It can take awhile to get it perfect, but I would be curious to know what you setting are?
I have no idea, actually. They bandy about the words pulse width a lot and something else. I love my doctors at UVA but sometimes think they don't know what else to do with me. Last time they recommended speech therapy and massage, but unless my insurance will cover it, no way can I afford it on SS disability when I'm paying for my own private insurance. Thanks for inquiring, Allison. Think they do do the brain mapping on me but don't often discuss settings, etc. Am so glad to hear you're feeling better. Was getting a bit worried about you! You're so right about doctors. They're wonderful but alas, human after all.
